"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle
High School Farm is proud to be a small, private operation, and we accept a limited number of horses at all levels to be put in training with USDF Gold and Silver Medal rider and FEI rider / trainer Michael Pineo.
Mike focuses on training using the horse's natural instincts to produce correct, light and enthusiastic competitive dressage mounts. He trains all horses personally, without the use of working students or other surrogate trainers, so each horse receives his undivided attention during every session.
Mike will be located in Wellington, Florida during the 2011 - 2012 dressage season. For information, call 831-840-4708. Local riders (any level) may also contact Mike to discuss a lesson program when he is in California.

Horses are accepted at all levels, from youngsters to Grand Prix dressage mounts. Horse owners are encouraged (but not required) to take weekly lessons so that they are able to continue training, show or simply enjoy themselves with their horse(s) as they progress. After all, most riders choose dressage for the joy of building a special partnership with their horse!
Stallions are one of Mike's specialties, and we generally have several in training at any given time. Our facility is designed to accommodate both stallions and mares to provide a positive and safe environment for all.
Mike has started many young horses, taken them out to gain a positive experience at training levels, and prepared them for their owners to show.
He has also worked successfully with numerous owners who wish to ride and/or show at upper levels to train "the 3 P's," tempi's and other FEI dressage movements. He is happy to discuss and demonstrate this training to parties with an interest in exploring training at High School Farm.

"If your horse says no, you either asked him the wrong question or asked the question wrong."
- Pat Parelli
Sorry, as a training facility we do not have lesson horses or offer public riding lessons. We do not accept horses for boarding.

All types and talent levels -- horses and riders! -- gain the understanding that is the foundation for improvement.
